“No Prep Yet?” BLACKPINK Fans Frustrated by Lack of Comeback and Tour Rehearsals

As BLACKPINK gears up for a reported comeback and an upcoming world tour, fans have been eagerly awaiting signs of group activity. However, a recent behind-the-scenes video featuring Jisoo and Rosé has sparked concern that preparations may not have even begun less than four months before the tour kicks off.

BLACKPINK Fans Frustrated by Lack of Comeback and Tour Rehearsals

The group announced their world tour on February 19 via social media, with two nights of shows scheduled in Korea on July 5 and 6, followed by performances across North America, Europe, and Japan. Reports also suggest a group comeback is planned before the tour begins.

But now, fans have a new reason to worry.

Jisoo and Rosé Reveal: “First Time Seeing Each Other Since Christmas”

On March 30, Jisoo uploaded a vlog documenting her solo promotions for “AMORTAGE,” including clips from fansigns and music shows. In the video, Rosé visits Jisoo at her second Inkigayo pre-recording, which aired on February 16.

What caught fans’ attention wasn’t just the sweet reunion but what Rosé said during their interaction. “This is the first time we’ve seen each other since Christmas,” Rosé revealed a two-month gap since their last in-person meeting.

Later, Jisoo teaches Rosé the “earthquake” dance challenge. As Rosé struggles with the steps, she admits, “It’s been a long time since I last danced.”

This moment set off a wave of concern on social media, with one now-viral post on X criticizing the group’s lack of visible preparation. “The tour is going to be a mess,” one fan wrote, referencing Rosé’s comment.

“Is There Even Time Left to Prepare?”

The Inkigayo recording took place in mid-February weeks after the world tour announcement yet fans noted that neither Jisoo nor Rosé seemed to be in rehearsal mode. Coupled with the ongoing solo schedules of all four members, many worry that the group may be cutting it too close.

“If they haven’t even started practicing by February, how are they going to get ready for July?” one fan questioned. Others expressed frustration that solo priorities appear to be leaving “little to no prep time” for a major group comeback and tour.

While some fans remain hopeful that preparations are simply happening behind closed doors, others are urging YG Entertainment to be more transparent about BLACKPINK’s group plans — especially with ticket sales and expectations rising.

With the clock ticking toward summer, all eyes are now on BLACKPINK: Will they be ready in time?
